Reporting to: Corporate Human Resources Director
Classification: Full Time
Status: Exempt
Position Summary:
As the HR Manager at Pine, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including but not limited to onboarding, policy implementation, payroll administration, benefits management, compliance, employee relations, and performance management. You will provide leadership and support to branch managers and employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Provide leadership and guidance to branch managers on HR-related matters.
Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
Collaborate with the HR Director to foster a positive workplace culture. – Manage payroll administration, including processing payroll, addressing payroll-related issues, and distributing payroll reports to the CFO. – Implement performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Support initiatives for continuous learning and skill development for branch managers and employees.
Manage employee benefits programs, including overseeing open enrollment, facilitating benefits enrollment for new hires, and collaborating with benefits providers and insurance carriers.
Ensure compliance with HR-related regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, and audits. – Administer workers’ compensation and retirement savings plans.
Generate reports and invoices as necessary. – Manage employee leave programs, including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave.
Process employee time and attendance data, update employee information, and stay informed about changes in tax codes and payroll-related legislation.
Handle new hires and terminations, garnishments, deductions, and year-end processes.
Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
Coordinate bi-weekly meetings with branch managers, Jessica, and Bryan to discuss HR, operations, and safety matters.
Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance and support to branch management and employees. -Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
5 years of experience in HR management roles.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
