Title: Associate Director, Project Management

Location: Boston, MA (3 days a week in office)

The Associate Director, Project Management will lead via cross-functional teams, working closely with project stakeholders, senior Galderma leaders, and subject matter experts to drive multiple initiatives across the most critical strategic assignments. They will act as a critical thought partner to evaluate and analyze opportunities, drive execution, and deliver results – identifying opportunities and bottlenecks, creating impact across the Galderma portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, monitor, and analyze project opportunities and regularly provide updates to the US PMO Lead, and other Galderma leaders.  Escalate issues and opportunities as needed to define, initiate and deliver strategic projects
  • Build relationships with team members, functional teams and global partners to gain trust to support and influence various teams
  • Provide leadership at cross-functional team meetings. Review past due and upcoming activities to ensure team is aware of what is expected to keep the project on track. Act as the point of elevation for issues at the team level to determine next steps
  • Manage project artifacts and provide progress/status updates on critical activities (weekly and monthly project progress updates, highlight risks, issues and constraints, decisions, and minutes of critical meetings requiring follow-up) for selected strategic projects
  • Develop standard documentation for regular management reviews of project KPIs, allotted budget performance, project process governance and compliance, projects tracking, etc.
  • Promote and ensure team understanding of the impact of project decisions on KPIs and provide assessments and recommendations of where these could be improved
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams or cross-functional teams of non-direct reports
  • Ability to demonstrate effective, persuasive business communications (verbal/written) and leadership
  • Ability to multi-task, shifting focus as business priorities change
  • Strong organizational skills; Capable of managing high levels of detail and handling multiple activities/tasks under pressure
  • Strong ability to drive cross functional integration team outcomes within a highly ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work with all levels in the organization, driving solutions and recommendations for action plans
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently as well as be a team player, and team leader, and be willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
