Metis is seeking a Risk Control Consultant for West Virginia.

Required:

1 + years' experience in law enforcementReside in West Virginia and have the ability to travel extensively in West Virginia

What you will do:

  • Work with assigned clients to evaluate actual loss exposures and potential risk factors and recommend appropriate risk management practices for automobile, property, general liability, law enforcement, and workers' compensation exposures
  • Develop and conduct training and seminars on safety and risk management topics
  • Conduct facility safety assessments that focus on the observation and recognition of potential workers’ compensation exposures, general liability issues, and fire hazards
  • Produce detailed safety assessment reports including client communications,
  • photographs, hazards statements, and risk management recommendations

The expected annual salary for this role is $60,000-$65,000.

Preferred:

  • College degree, preferably with a concentration in sciences, or equivalent experience in loss control or risk management.
  • Minimum of two years in prior experience in the risk field desired.
  • Certified Safety Professional, CPCU, and/or ARM certification
