Description
Under minimal supervision by the Manager of Business Systems, the Business Systems Analyst will provide comprehensive analysis & management as the expert for clinical research workflows across the enterprise, serve as the expert for system functionality and technical feasibility for the Clinical Research Management System (CRMS), and serve as the liaison between the technical and business components of the system implementation. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working closely with technical team members at Care Connect and the Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS) to define and design specifications for key system interfaces. You will also work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define the operational specifications and application configuration settings. You must have direct experience in transitioning groups from one systems platform to another. This work will include, but will not be limited to, managing and defining the documentation and re-engineering the current and future systems workflows, including policies and procedures.
Salary Range:$92600 – $202200/Annually
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science.
- 5 plus years of experience as a product manager and or systems & information analyst.
- Experience organizing and managing detailed information.
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate with various staff throughout the organization, including working with various directors and outside vendors.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to write and correct, if needed, various business correspondence.
- Ability to work in a complex, matrix team environment; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines, ability to set priorities to work assignments under pressure of heavy workload, interruptions, and multiple deadlines to ensure completing of tasks and assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to troubleshoot, solve, and ultimately resolve highly complex issues.
Preferred:
- Master degree, in Business or Computer Science.
- Previous experience working in clinical research.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint,and Visio.
