PVESC is a large, growing emergency and specialty veterinary practice located in beautiful Portland, Maine. Our specialties include emergency & critical care, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, neurology, and cardiology.
PVESC has a current full-time 2nd shift opening for a licensed technician or experienced veterinary assistant in our emergency and critical care department. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, 2 pm to12 am. This position offers a sign-on bonus of up to $2500.00, compensation commensurate with experience, generous evening and weekend shift differentials, and an extensive benefits plan.
We are looking for a technician with exceptional attention to detail and proficient written and oral communication skills. Are you self-motivated, compassionate, and eager to learn new skills? Then you may be the perfect fit for PVESC. Our mentorship program within the emergency and critical care department will help you achieve your nursing goals. You will have the ability to work alongside board certified veterinarians and veterinary technician specialists in emergency and critical care.

Requirements
Veterinary technician license or certification. Experienced veterinary assistants may also be considered.
A minimum of two years of veterinary experience is required.
