Taylor Staffing is seeking an Assistant Plant Controller for a large manufacturing company in Shawnee, OK.

• Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered
  • SAP Finance & Controlling, Accounting
  • IFRS
  • GAAP
  • Banking Transaction
  • Credit Exposure
  • Month end closing
  • Financial Statement Preparation
  • Candidate MUST have3+ years of accounting experience in MANUFACTURING

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary Accounts Payable contact for vendors and plant personnel.
• Coordination with external auditors and management to ensure that plant accounting is properly recorded and timely and meets all GAAP and IFRS requirements
• Provide support to provide cash flow forecasting
• Advise Accounting Specialist, Plant Analyst and Manufacturing on accounting issues (inventories, fixed assets, manufacturing and cost accounting)
• Assist in monthly closing process for plant
• Assist property tax submissions
• Assist ad hoc financial requests

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• Min. 5-8 years of financial/ accounting experience
• Understanding of complex financial and accounting transactions
• Analytical and problem solving capability
• Presentation skills
• Interpersonal and planning skills
• Ability to work with full range of manufacturing positions and across different cultures
