**Description**

Steiner Industries, a division of Bunzl Distribution, is a dynamic and rapidly-growing leading manufacturer of welding and industrial protective products located in the northern part of Chicago. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hands-on Customer Service Representative with a solid track record to support all customer service activities. The Customer Service Representative will answer inquiries on customer accounts and investigate any issues to find resolutions in a timely manner. This position will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

***Responsibilities:***

* Answering inquiries from distributors, end-users, and manufacturers reps.

* Entering and processing orders.

* Investigating customer problems and/or complaints to successful resolution.

* Maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional service.

* Function as a liaison between customer service and other departments in the company to address customer needs.

* Expediting orders as required.

* Working effectively in a team environment to meet business goals and objectives.

***Requirements:***

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, including retail customer sales/service.

* Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills.

* Excellent, detail-oriented customer service skills.

* Experience with manufacturing or distribution of industrial products/services is a plus.
