Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Finance Transformation Project Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in New York, NY.Responsibilities :The Finance Program Group is responsible for the successful delivery of regulatory and cross-product transformational Initiatives as part of Firm’s Transformation.This role, as a member of the Finance Transformation Office, will provide on-the-ground support to teams to help accelerate critical initiatives manage one or more critical projects within the Finance PG Initiatives, ensuring that best practices and Firm standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global environment.Required Skills : Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in project management in Financial Services, preferably in Capital Markets or Investment Banking.Strong understanding of project management principles and ability to execute on delivery.Organized and self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions. Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills : Appropriate industry knowledge, including Capital Markets product knowledge is preferred.SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
