Roberts Properties is looking to hire a Construction Staff Accountant for an exciting job opportunity with a Class A multifamily developer. This position offers a competitive salary based on each individual's qualifications and a generous bonus package. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of accounting experience in private-sector construction and hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline. They should also be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, self-motivated, have a keen sense of attention to detail, and be capable of working with minimum supervision.
The responsibilities of this position include:
– Working with the Controller and CFO to prepare checks for monthly construction company draws to subcontractors
– Entering data into Sage and Yardi accounting software
– Preparing checks for monthly development company bills
– Paying all bills required for each property monthly
